Position Description:
The Air and Missile Defense (AMD) TIS (Track Identification Services) SW (Software) Development Team Product Owner (PO) will work as a member of the Army Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office (PO). The PO will be responsible for prioritizing and validating the development software for the TIS team. The TIS team is responsible for the identification and classification of tracks in the C2 (Command and Control) software. The position includes reviewing and understanding Systems Engineering concepts, designs, and algorithms, and providing guidance to the development team. The product owner will work with program management to set priorities for capabilities and defect resolution for each product increment and sprint. The role also involves delivering technical briefings and advisements to leadership regarding the status, risks, and impacts on the IFMC mission.
Basic Qualifications:
The candidate must have a good understanding of CID (Classification, Identification, and Discrimination) used in C2 systems, including IFF, ADS-B, Air Tasking Orders, and NCTR. The candidate must be able to oversee the development team, verify work based on acceptance criteria, and participate in code reviews. The ability to work directly with Agile software developers is required.

An additional plus is knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, MEADS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS, and familiarity with current CID measures in one or more DoD services. Prior Product Owner experience on a SCRUM team is also advantageous.

Candidate must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance or higher.
