Job summary

AIM (Academic Improvement Mission) Coordinator position at Baileysville Elementary and Middle School supports the AIM team by guiding meetings, reviewing data, and recommending interventions to help identified students.

The role collaborates with principals and teachers to differentiate instruction, document interventions, schedule meetings, maintain records, and assist with referrals and team interactions.

Qualifications

• Valid WV Teacher Certification.
• Preference to school counselor, administrator, or current faculty.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to AIM student assistance team on facilitating effective AIM meetings, reviewing data and recommending interventions.
• Support principal and classroom teachers to identify and develop appropriate instruction interventions, analyze data to differentiate instruction, and document interventions to determine student growth.
• Assist AIM team members, principals and parents in understanding student referrals.
• Schedule and notify all stakeholders of AIM meetings.
• Maintain official records and logs of AIM meetings and outcomes.
• Assist teachers with AIM referral forms as needed.
• Facilitate team interaction at AIM meetings and summarize discussions and decisions.
