Birmingham Fastener & Supply in Birmingham, AL is seeking an AI Strategy Manager to chart the AI vision across manufacturing and distribution. You will lead data, people, and technology initiatives to transform how we manufacture, stock, quote, and deliver fasteners across locations.

• Bachelor's degree required; related fields acceptable.
• 5+ years in data science, machine learning, analytics, or related field with at least 2 years in leadership.
• Experience leading AI initiatives from strategy through implementation, with measurable improvements.
• Proven ability to drive adoption of AI across multiple sites.

• Serve as a change agent championing AI adoption, partnering with leaders to identify opportunities for innovation and improvements.
• Evaluate data, systems, and processes across locations to identify practical AI solutions based on business impact, feasibility, and risk.
• Develop business cases, measure ROI, and track improvements in metrics like margin, on-time delivery, inventory turns, and customer retention.
• Oversee AI solutions from pilot through full implementation, ensuring integration with ERP, warehouse, manufacturing, and customer-facing systems.
• Train employees at all levels and locations, promoting early successes and ongoing adoption of AI.
• Align AI initiatives with measurable financial and operational outcomes in manufacturing and distribution environments.
• Establish data privacy, security, model oversight, and responsible AI use per quality and regulatory standards, including aerospace/defense requirements.
• Maintain a strong facility presence to understand operations, communicate progress, and translate technical concepts into actionable insights.
