Job summary

Arena Technical Resources, LLC is seeking a Principal Data Scientist to lead enterprise AI/ML initiatives across manufacturing and predictive analytics. You will architect AI solutions for smart manufacturing, predictive maintenance, and supply chain optimization.

Responsibilities include setting technical roadmaps, mentoring teams, and partnering with executives to translate complex business problems into data-driven products with measurable ROI.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial IoT, telematics, edge AI, or time-series data from heavy machinery, automotive, or aerospace.
• Background in computer vision, autonomous vehicle tech, or robotics.
• 8+ years of progressive analytics/AI responsibilities.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL; R/Scala/C++ a plus.
• Deep experience with ML frameworks and cloud/data platforms; MLOps and DevOps skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum in large enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Define technical roadmap and architecture for enterprise AI/ML initiatives.
• Partner with executives to identify high-value analytics opportunities.
• Champion best practices for MLOps, governance, and scalable data products.
• Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of complex AI models.
• Translate business challenges into production-ready data science solutions.
• Provide mentorship to senior and mid-level data scientists and ML engineers.
• Collaborate with data engineering, cloud, and software teams for deployment and monitoring.
• Communicate ROI and analytic concepts clearly to stakeholders.
