Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking an Applied AI Lead to drive AI-driven innovation for the Business Transformation team. You will lead planning and execution of AI use cases, delivering business results across efficiency and innovation. Reports to the Director, Head of AI Transformation Team.

The role requires building AI solutions, Python development, collaboration with business units, and ongoing learning in AI/ML tooling such as LLMs and MCP servers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required.
• Master's with an AI/ML focus is a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in AI/ML development, software engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience with major AI platforms and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI automation solutions using AI platforms and APIs.
• Write, test, and maintain Python code across AI/ML pipelines and data processing scripts.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify AI use cases and turn problems into technical solutions.
• Own use cases through full project lifecycle from discovery to production rollout.
• Track KPI performance, ROI, and iterate on models and workflows.
