Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. is seeking an AI/ML software engineer with 2-4 years of experience to build and maintain AI automation solutions using Claude Code, Gemini, or ChatGPT APIs.

You will work closely with business teams to uncover AI use cases and drive them from discovery through production rollout. The role requires strong Python skills and experience with LangChain, Pandas, and NumPy, plus familiarity with agentic workflows and MCP servers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field required; Master's with an AI/ML focus is a plus.
• 2-4 years of experience in AI/ML development, software engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on experience with major AI platforms via APIs (Claude Code, Gemini, ChatGPT); familiarity with agentic workflows and MCP servers is a plus.
• Strong Python skills with libraries like LangChain, Pandas, NumPy.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy AI automation solutions using Claude Code, Gemini, or other AI platforms, including agentic workflows and MCP server integrations.
• Write, test, and maintain Python code across AI/ML pipelines and analytics tooling.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify AI use cases and drive them from discovery to production rollout.
• Own use cases through full lifecycle: scope, prompt engineering, data readiness, testing, and deployment.
• Track performance against KPIs, perform ROI analysis, and iterate on models and prompts.
• Identify risks and blockers, influencing design decisions around models, tools, and scalability.
