Job summary

Avalere Health seeks a Senior Director, AI Transformation to lead a pharma client’s AI ambitions from strategy to measurable value. You’ll bridge client needs with Avalere Health teams, guiding solution design and governance while mobilizing experts across disciplines.

The role emphasizes executive credibility, governance, and end-to-end delivery. You will partner with senior pharma leaders, shape an AI transformation roadmap, and ensure adoption and value realization across initiatives.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in transformation, consulting, digital product, or client leadership.
• Proven track record advising senior pharma or life-sciences leaders.
• Experience moving AI/analytics from discovery to adopted, governed workflows.
• Practical understanding of large language models, agent workflows, model evaluation.
• Transformation: process mapping, workflow redesign, adoption, and benefits realization.
• Excellent facilitation, writing and executive presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and advise on AI priorities.
• Develop and maintain an AI transformation roadmap aligned to client priorities.
• Establish governance forums and executive reporting across the AI portfolio.
• Identify high-value opportunities via workshops and workflow reviews.
• Turn client challenges into clear requirements, scopes, and delivery plans.
• Mobilize cross-functional teams around priority use cases from prototype to launch.
• Redesign future-state workflows and handoffs to embed AI in day-to-day practice.
• Create adoption playbooks, training, and governance with stakeholders.
• Prove impact with baselines, adoption metrics, and value realization.
• Deepen partnership with the client and articulate Avalere Health's AI impact.
