Job summary

Applied Value is seeking a Director of AI to oversee the firm’s AI strategy and implementation across client work and internal operations. You will guide partners, coaches, and engineers to deliver practical AI-enabled transformations with measurable impact.

You will shape AI adoption, ensure integration with client systems, and maintain tools post-launch, while communicating progress to partners and leadership.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in consulting or program leadership.
• Experience building training curricula and coaching cadences.
• Hands-on with the current AI stack; able to read code and specify work.
• Credibility with partners, builders, and clients.
• Strong executive writing and strategic artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI transformation roadmap across how the firm sells, delivers, and runs itself.
• Run partner coaching cadences and client conversations on AI applications.
• Build and run AI training curricula by level for partners, senior consultants, and analysts.
• Lead show-and-tell sessions to disseminate tools and learnings across teams.
• Coordinate cross-team efforts to avoid duplicate work and promote reuse.
• Drive AI adoption as the standard approach with visible wins and sponsorship.
• Produce monthly partner readouts, quarterly strategy refreshes, and priority views.
• Direct the builders on scope, quality standards, and transition from prototype to production.
• Advise clients on AI fit and deployment of AV-built solutions.
• Own end-to-end client-facing tools and define maintenance and support.
