Job summary

Rare Beauty Brands is seeking a Director of AI Transformation to move the company from using AI tools to running on them. You will work across every function and report to the President & CEO, designing, building, and shipping scalable AI and automation solutions.

You will lead governance, change management, and documentation, while partnering with vendors and internal teams to drive measurable impact and ROI.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience spanning operations, technology, consulting, or product with AI/digital transformation results.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools: LLM APIs, agent frameworks, and scripting to connect systems.
• Knowledge of AI governance and data security; ability to implement guardrails.
• Proven track record changing how teams work and driving adoption.
• Business judgment to size opportunities and communicate ROI.

Responsibilities

• Partner with ELT to map workflows and identify friction points.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of AI and automation opportunities.
• Design, prototype, and deploy AI agents across systems.
• Lead change management: training, documentation, adoption tracking.
• Govern AI policy and run governance group.
• Measure impact and report to CEO/ELT.
