Job summary

Rare Beauty Brands is seeking a Director, AI Transformation to move the company from using AI tools to running on them. You will partner with every function, map workflows, build and ship AI agents, and own the technical architecture and governance.

The role is fully remote, reports to the President & CEO, and requires turning AI into scalable, profitable processes across brand, digital, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years across operations, technology, or consulting with hands-on AI work.
• Experience building AI and automation at scale with measurable results.
• Knowledge of AI governance, data security, and policy development.
• Proven ability to drive process change across non-technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Map workflows with exec leadership to identify friction points
• Build a prioritized AI/opportunity pipeline by impact and risk
• Design, prototype, and deploy AI agents and integrations
• Own the technical architecture and data governance
• Lead change management with training and documentation
• Grow internal AI capability and reduce external dependency
• Maintain AI policy, governance group, and tool registry
• Define metrics and report value to ELT
