Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an AI Reimagination Engineer within the Generative AI Center of Excellence (GenAI COE). The role partners with multiple business areas to redesign complex, manual processes into autonomous AI-powered systems, delivering scalable solutions across enterprise functions.

You will lead end-to-end projects from redesign to build, collaborating with IT, security, and platform teams, while ensuring Secure by Design and data-classification standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, AI/ML, engineering, or related field.
• Hybrid experience with proven track record in both decomposing complex business processes and crafting or building technical solutions.
• 8+ years overall experience and 3+ years in AI/ML, with hands-on experience building agentic or LLM-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Decompose end-to-end processes and lead elimination/simplification/agentification analysis.
• Architect agentic solutions including AI architecture, memory/context strategy, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Translate inventions into buildable solutions by developing agent workflows, prompt and context strategies, and integration requirements.
• Prototype and build: Construct working agentic solutions or direct their build with platform engineers.
• Engineer trust and control: Define testable human-in-the-loop controls and least-privilege permissions for each step.
• Drive multi-functional delivery: Collaborate across functions to achieve first production release.
• Measure value and codify patterns: capture baselines and turn findings into reference flows and playbooks.
