Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is hiring a versatile AI Product Engineer to join our Business Function team—a hybrid builder-strategist who can define, design, and deliver AI-enabled solutions that move the needle on business outcomes.

You’ll own the what and the why of AI products, prototype GenAI and agentic AI solutions, integrate LLMs via APIs, and partner with data engineering to ensure data quality and observability at scale. This role bridges business problems and shipped AI products.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in a related area.
• 3+ years of experience across product management, business analysis, data science, software development, or data engineering.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM/GenAI applications.
• Experience deploying applications with testing, version control, and API design.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product lifecycle for AI solutions in the business function — vision, roadmap, backlog, adoption, measurable outcomes.
• Lead discovery: user research, persona development, requirements gathering, maintain vision and backlog.
• Serve as voice of the customer for agile delivery; translate needs into user stories with acceptance criteria; facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, releases.
• Prototype GenAI and Agentic AI solutions, including prompt/context engineering and evaluation.
• Integrate LLMs via APIs, function/tool calling, and structured outputs; test and validate AI agents for workflows.
• Partner with data engineering to identify data sources, design ETL pipelines, ensure data quality, governance, and observability.
• Direct UX/UI design with developers; lead training, change management, and adoption strategy; build feedback loops.
