Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID seeks an AI Reimagination Engineer to lead the design and deployment of autonomous AI-driven processes. You will partner with GenAI COE, IT architecture, security, and project teams to redesign complex workflows into scalable agentic solutions.

The role requires 8+ years overall with 3+ years in AI/ML, strong Python/.NET/C#, SQL, and API experience, plus hands-on work with multi-agent orchestration and governance. Hybrid work flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, AI/ML, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience blending technical delivery with business process work.
• Hybrid Experience: Proven track record in both decomposing complex business processes and crafting or building technical solutions.
• Agentic Delivery: 8+ years of overall experience and 3+ years in AI/ML; recent hands‑on work building agentic or LLM‑based systems.

Responsibilities

• Decompose end-to-end processes: map current-state flows, quantify effort and risk, and lead elimination/simplification/agentification before automation.
• Architect the agentic solution: build future-state flows and AI architecture, including task decomposition, orchestration, data access, memory strategy, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Translate inventions into buildable solutions by developing agent workflows, prompt/context strategies, and integration requirements; follow Secure by Design and data-classification standards.
• Prototype and build: construct working agentic solutions or direct their build with platform engineers, validating fit and value before full delivery.
• Engineer trust and control: define testable human-in-the-loop controls and least-privilege permissions for each step.
• Drive multi-functional delivery: collaborate across client function, IT, security, platform engineers, and EPMO through first production release.
• Measure value and codify patterns: capture value baselines during discovery, post-release measurement, and create reference flows and playbooks; mentor engineers.
