Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a versatile AI Product Engineer to join our Business Function team in a hybrid capacity. You will define, design, and deliver AI-enabled solutions that drive measurable business outcomes, bridging strategy, data, and engineering execution.

You’ll own the what and the why of AI products, prototype GenAI solutions, integrate LLMs via APIs, and partner with data engineering to ensure scalable, observable, and secure AI capabilities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3+ years across product management, business analysis, data science, software, or data engineering in semiconductor or related fields.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying LLM/GenAI apps with Python, SQL, and data manipulation.
• Experience deploying applications with testing, version control, and robust APIs.
• Strong communication and backlog-management skills translating business needs into AI products.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI product lifecycle from vision to adoption and measurable outcomes.
• Lead discovery: user research, personas, requirements, and backlog prioritization.
• Translate customer needs into user stories with acceptance criteria and manage the backlog.
• Prototype GenAI and Agentic AI solutions, including prompt engineering and evaluation.
• Integrate LLMs via APIs and tool calls; validate agents for business workflows.
• Collaborate with data engineering on data sources, pipelines, and governance, ensuring observability.
• Direct UX/UI design collaboration; lead training, change management, and adoption.
