Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Tech Operations Specialist to keep the field organization’s AI tooling running smoothly, maintain inventories, manage use-case libraries, and track adoption initiatives. You will coordinate with the AI Transformation Owner and CRO leadership to ensure compliant access and data integrity.

The role is remote in the United States and reports to the Vice President of Enablement & AI. A hands-on, detail-oriented operator with interest in AI tooling is ideal.

Qualifications

• Some experience in enablement, sales/business operations, IT operations, or a coordination-heavy role.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to track multiple tools and datasets.
• Genuine curiosity about AI tooling and willingness to learn technical basics.
• Process-minded and comfortable following structured workflows.
• Collaborative and able to work with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all AI tools used across the field org.
• Formalize a library of use cases for AI tools with ROI in mind.
• Monitor tool adoption and track usage trends with simple reporting.
• Draft internal announcements for tool rollouts and enablement programs.
• Own intake and processing of access requests for AI tools.
• Support data hygiene and governance of AI-related data and datasets.
