GitLab Inc. in the United States is seeking a Tech Operations Specialist to keep our AI tooling landscape running smoothly. You will manage inventory, track adoption, and handle access requests in a fast-moving environment.

Reporting to the Vice President of Enablement & AI, you will collaborate with enablement, IT, and field teams to ensure data quality and successful tool rollouts, helping GitLab scale AI-enabled workflows across the organization.

Qualifications

• Some experience in enablement, sales/business operations, IT operations, or a coordination-heavy function.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to track multiple tools and datasets.
• Genuine curiosity about AI tools and willingness to learn their configuration and maintenance.
• Comfortable following structured processes and improving them.
• Able to collaborate with enablement, IT, and field stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Basic comfort with spreadsheets, dashboards, and data tools.
• Ability to work in an all-remote, asynchronous environment per GitLab values.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all AI tools used across the field org.
• Formalize a library of field-adopted use cases for AI tools with the AI Transformation Owner.
• Monitor usage trends and flag underutilized tools to stakeholders.
• Draft internal announcements for tool rollouts and create micro-enablement programs.
• Own the intake and processing of access requests for AI tools.
• Support data hygiene of AI tool data and datasets in gDrive.
