Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Tech Operations Specialist to ensure the AI tooling landscape stays organized and efficient in a fully remote, async environment. You will manage inventories, track use cases, and coordinate access requests across field operations.

You will collaborate with Enablement & AI under the CRO, emphasizing process discipline, data hygiene, and stakeholder communication to scale AI adoption across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating multiple AI tools and datasets.
• Ability to build simple dashboards or reports to track usage.
• Strong collaboration with enablement, IT, and field stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an up-to-date inventory of AI tools used across the field.
• Formalize a library of field-adopted use cases for AI tools.
• Monitor tool usage and flag underutilized or underperforming tools.
• Draft internal announcements for tool rollouts and enablement programs.
• Own intake and processing of access requests for AI tools.
• Support data hygiene and quality for datasets used by AI tools.
