Sprout is seeking a hands-on hardware engineering professional focused on Velerity Compute systems. You will work closely with Sales to answer questions about HGX DGX configurations, NVLink topologies, and AI-ready server deployments.

Responsibilities include diagnosing BIOS, firmware, and fabric issues, configuring InfiniBand/Ethernet fabric, and owning burn-in and certification testing. You’ll collaborate to ensure accurate configuration, pricing, and delivery for hyperscaler and enterprise

Formación

• 5+ years in data center hardware engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA DGX/HGX AI systems and NVLink/NVSwitch.
• Strong knowledge of InfiniBand fabric, HDR/NDR, and ConnectX.
• Fluency across major OEM servers: Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Supermicro, Lenovo ThinkSystem, Cisco UCS.
• Ability to read manifests and quickly estimate configuration and cost.
• Experience with BIOS, BMC, IPMI, Redfish and firmware bundles.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support to Sales on hardware configurations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot GPU, baseboard, NVLink, NVSwitch, PSU, cooling, and fabric issues.
• Configure and validate InfiniBand and Ethernet fabric.
• Own configuration and assembly quality for customer orders.
• Oversee burn-in and certification testing and sign off as sellable.
• Maintain accurate master data and inventory attributes.
• Document recurring technical questions into reusable references.
• Maintain internal config catalog and cost data.
• Train sales staff on technical baselines to qualify opportunities.
