Job summary

Gallagher is seeking an AI Business Analyst to bridge business needs and engineering across multiple AI initiatives. You will own requirements, frame problems for AI retrieval, and ensure traceability and governance across the portfolio.

The role emphasizes cross-team collaboration, risk awareness, and auditable documentation in a regulated environment, with a focus on accurate requirements and test coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or related field.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear, testable requirements and stories.
• Hands-on use of generative AI tools to accelerate analysis while applying sound judgment.
• Experience mapping processes and documenting workflows (Visio, Lucidchart, or equivalents).
• Experience owning UAT strategy and test design for technical systems.
• Experience working in Agile teams and managing backlogs and user stories in Azure DevOps.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across business and technical teams.
• Education background as above or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own requirements across multiple AI initiatives and prioritize work with leadership.
• Frame ambiguous business problems into precise, testable requirements.
• Capture edge cases and regulatory nuances for AI retrieval sources and prompts.
• Document current and future-state processes with diagrams.
• Write specs and acceptance criteria for engineers and architects.
• Define test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing for AI solutions.
• Facilitate cross-team workshops and align priorities across projects.
• Maintain traceability documentation for compliance and audit needs.
• Track performance and feed gaps back to backlogs.
