Job summary

GAF is seeking a Director of AI and Intelligent Automation to architect and execute the enterprise AI journey, reporting to the VP of Data and AI. The role will align AI initiatives with business strategy and prioritize delivery across departments to achieve measurable ROI.

Responsibilities include defining the AI execution strategy, enabling enterprise deployment of agentic workflows, and leading governance, risk management, and enablement programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years relevant experience.
• Advanced AI literacy: LLMs, RAG, and agentic orchestration frameworks.
• Proficiency with orchestration tools such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AutoGen.
• Familiarity with vector search and storage solutions (e.g., Vertex AI Search) and API integration strategies.
• Lead a team of AI process engineers and builders including budgeting and capacity planning.
• Influence thought leadership and drive AI use cases across functions.
• Strong business analysis to map processes for AI integration.
• Experience managing backlogs, writing technical docs, and cross-functional leadership.
• Excellent communication for executive and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the execution strategy for the enterprise AI roadmap.
• Lead governance, risk management, and KPI definition for AI implementations.
• Oversee development of Generative & Agentic AI solutions and RAG repositories.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security, Legal, and Procurement for governance frameworks.
• Co-launch the Data and AI Academy for workforce education.
• Lead AI process engineering teams and manage budgets and demand vs capacity.
• Bridge between engineering teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
