Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an experienced Solutions Engineer to join our Munich team. You will partner with Digital Natives customers to drive business value from ChatGPT and the OpenAI API, working with both business and technical teams to craft architectures and ensure successful implementations.

You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Security, and Product, thrive in a hybrid setup with relocation assistance for new hires, and communicate complex topics to executives and technical audiences

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a technical pre-sales role with complex global customers.
• Fluency in German and English at professional level.
• Strong understanding of IT security for B2B SaaS products.
• Experience delivering AI/ML prototypes and working with REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-sales experiences by outlining value propositions and answering product, API, and security questions.
• Demonstrate how ChatGPT and OpenAI API meet business needs, including demos and architecture guidance.
• Create and maintain documentation, guides, and FAQs for pre-sales processes.
• Capture customer feedback and relay it to internal teams to influence product planning.
• Be the security and compliance point of contact, guiding customers to trusted resources.
