Job summary

Flossy is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to shape and build AI products across our platform, spanning patient communication, business intelligence, workflow automation, and operational optimization.

You will work directly with leadership and customer operators to turn complex business problems into reliable software, owning product areas from discovery to production. This is a hands-on role requiring delivery discipline, strong UX judgment, and pragmatic engineering across the stack.

Qualifications

• Practical experience using AI coding agents as part of a high output development workflow.
• Track record of taking a product or substantial workflow from an unclear problem to production use.
• Strong product judgment connecting customer needs, UX, tech decisions, and business outcomes.
• Hands-on engineering across modern web apps, APIs, databases, and cloud deployment; can inspect and debug code.
• Comfort working with third-party integrations, imperfect documentation, and complex business rules.
• Proven ability to communicate with customers across Slack, meetings, email, etc.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with frontline staff, managers, and executives to understand workflows, goals, and constraints.
• Translate customer needs into actionable software solutions.
• Design interfaces that make complex information understandable and actionable.
• Own the product and ship quality solutions with minimal requests.
• Build across frontend, backend, database, and integrations using AI tools to accelerate delivery.
• Develop AI-powered features and automation workflows with clear business rules and approvals.
• Investigate data gaps, API issues, and production problems; implement fixes through testing and release.
