Job summary

Ema in San Francisco seeks an experienced Solutions Architect/Sales Engineer to own pre-sales engagements, tailor deployments, deliver compelling product demonstrations, and guide PoCs from concept to production.

You will collaborate with global sales, work closely with engineering to design architectures, translate customer needs into production-ready solutions, and ensure seamless integration with cloud or on-prem environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
8+ years in Solutions Architect / Sales Engineer or similar pre-sales role.
Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS and cloud technologies.
Experience with solution design, architecture and integration.
Familiarity with relevant programming languages and technologies.
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving.
Excellent presentation and communication skills.
Strong collaboration and global-team experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with sales leadership to understand customer requirements and enable deployment.
Develop an in-depth understanding of Ema's technology and architectures.
Deliver compelling product demonstrations tailored to customer needs.
Lead PoCs and demonstrate feasibility and value in customers' environments.
Position as Trusted Advisor to stakeholders to achieve business outcomes.
Design and architect solutions aligning with customer goals and systems integration.
Drive project teams toward adoption of Ema's solutions.
Communicate value across engagement from demo to production.
Help take Ema's solution from PoC to production.
Understand customers' cloud/on-prem environments and translate needs into production-ready solutions.
Create and maintain technical documentation and best practices.
