Job summary

Jobtailor in Mountain View, CA is seeking a technical recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for hardware, AI silicon, RTL and microarchitecture roles, collaborating closely with engineering leaders to identify, source, and attract top talent in a competitive market.

You will build and maintain robust talent pipelines, perform rigorous candidate assessments, deliver data-driven updates to leadership on pipeline metrics, and help shape recruiting processes as the company scales in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS, EE, Communications, Marketing, HR/Organizational Behavior, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in full-cycle technical recruiting
• Experience supporting hardware, systems, or AI-focused teams in startup/high-growth environments
• Recruiting for specialized hardware and architecture roles for AI silicon (SoC/power architects, RTL/microarchitecture engineers, verification specialists)
• Experience recruiting in startup/high-growth environments
• Experience with high-volume recruiting (e.g., 25 roles per quarter)
• Strong knowledge of Ashby or similar ATS
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Authorized to work in the United States and compliant with export controls

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruiting activities, including outbound sourcing, resume review, and initial phone screens
• Assess candidates’ technical skills, experience, and alignment
• Collaborate on recruiting strategies to source and hire top technical talent
• Focus recruiting on system hardware, silicon, and software roles
• Hire specialized hardware engineering talent supporting AI silicon (RTL and microarchitecture design, verification, physical design, SoC/power architecture)
• Partner with leadership and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and role qualifications
• Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing and relationships
• Adapt to shifting hiring priorities in a dynamic startup environment
• Provide data-driven updates to leadership on pipeline metrics and candidate progress
• Scale and build diverse, high-performing teams
• Ensure timely, clear communication throughout early hiring stages
• Help shape recruiting processes as MatX scales
