Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director AI Security to establish and mature the enterprise AI Security program.

Reporting to the CIO, this leader will shape strategy for securing AI technologies while enabling responsible innovation across the enterprise. The role leads a team of AI security architects, engineers, and specialists, partnering with Enterprise Architecture, Legal, Privacy, and business leaders to securely enable AI adoption and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computerscience, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field (Required).
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, Data Science or related field (Preferred).
• 10+ years in progressive cybersecurity leadership (Required).
• 3+ years designing, implementing, and securing AI/ML (Required).
• 2+ years cloud security configurations with AWS/GCP/Azure (Required).
• 2+ years in application security with emphasis on AI/ML (Required).
• 5+ years leading security architecture or engineering teams (Required).
• CSSLP, CISSP, CCSP certifications are valued (various).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the enterprise AI Security strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Establish enterprise AI security standards and secure development requirements.
• Lead AI security risk management including governance and regulatory compliance.
• Build and lead the AI Security organization with hiring and budgeting.
• Partner with across functions to enable secure enterprise AI adoption.
• Oversee AI security architecture reviews and security assessments.
• Monitor emerging AI threats and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Represent Information Security on AI governance committees.
