Job summary

Aegis AI Security is seeking its first sales hire to lead outbound prospecting and market education in a fast-growing cybersecurity startup. You will target mid-market and enterprise accounts, translate technical concepts into business value, and build the go-to-market cadence from scratch.

Based in SF or NY with a remote-friendly, hybrid setup (quarterly in-office days), you’ll own the sales process end-to-end, collaborate with Product and Engineering, and shape the GTM strategy as the company

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in BDR/SDR or equivalent quota-bearing roles, ideally at a security, SaaS, or enterprise software company.
• Proven hunter mentality: outbound prospecting and consistently exceed activity targets.
• Excellent communication skills—verbal and written, capable of persuading technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort navigating enterprise buying cycles and multiple stakeholders.
• Data-driven mindset with regular performance analysis and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted outreach (cold calls, emails, social) into mid-market and enterprise accounts.
• Research and map organizational structures to identify key stakeholders and pain points.
• Qualify inbound leads and book discovery calls.
• Develop cadences and A/B test messaging to drive engagement and response.
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data.
