Job summary

Wix, via its Base44 platform, is assembling a front-line SMB Sales Manager to lead a high-velocity team of Account Executives in the San Diego or Salt Lake City area. You will hire, onboard, and ramp new reps, while coaching to balance outbound, inbound and product-led opportunities.

You will shape the SMB motion, forecast pipelines, and drive AI-assisted selling across deals, with close collaboration to ensure success and expansion.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of B2B sales experience in technology.
• 2+ years directly managing quota-carrying AEs.
• Proven track record of exceeding quota in SMB with high-volume deals.
• Hands-on use of AI with your team to improve selling or operations.
• Strong emotional intelligence; able to lead through ambiguity and change.
• Experience with PLG or land and expand motions.
• Familiarity with AI, ML, or developer-centric SaaS and technical workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of SMB Account Executives, including hiring, onboarding, and ramping new reps.
• Run a coaching-first operating cadence: weekly 1:1s, call coaching, deal reviews, pipeline reviews, and QBRs.
• Balance outbound with inbound and product-led opportunities to ensure diverse pipeline.
• Coach reps on discovery and tailored demos connecting Base44 to customer workflows.
• Help reps manage the buying process by aligning decision-makers and navigating terms.
• Stay close to key deals and participate as a player-coach to move outcomes.
• Partner with Account Management on handoffs and expansion.
• Shape the SMB sales motion, including messaging and customer segmentation for scale.
• Accurately forecast, manage pipeline coverage, and maintain CRM discipline.
• Read pipeline data to diagnose patterns and decide what to change.
• Bring AI into prep, outreach, call reviews, and coaching; share cross-org learnings.
• Act as a feedback loop to influence roadmap and positioning.
