Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an AI Risk and Governance Manager to provide independent oversight of enterprise AI activities, focusing on generative and agentic AI. You will partner with risk, compliance, data, IT, and audit teams to ensure governance aligns with policy and regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of AI, model and technology risk experience applying risk concepts to AI or tech-enabled processes.
• Experience partnering with risk, compliance, data, and IT teams to drive governance and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent Second Line of Defense oversight and credible challenge of enterprise AI governance activities.
• Assess alignment of first-line AI governance with enterprise risk appetite and policy.
• Support governance for AI agents and agentic AI including autonomy, tool access, and kill-switch protocols.
• Oversee material changes to AI systems and challenge reassessment needs.
• Evaluate risks from generative and agentic AI use cases including data privacy and bias considerations.
• Support AI governance intake, classification, approval, monitoring, and inventory processes.
• Review risk assessments and monitoring outputs and challenge documentation and residual risk conclusions.
• Collaborate with Model Risk Management, Technology Risk, Compliance, Privacy, and other teams to ensure consistent interpretation of governance expectations.
• Monitor AI risk landscape and translate developments into actionable oversight considerations.
• Assist audit and regulatory activities with evidence review and remediation oversight.
