Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an AI Risk and Governance Manager within Risk Management. This role provides independent oversight of enterprise AI activities, ensuring governance aligned with risk appetite, policy, and regulatory expectations.

You will partner with business, technology, data, compliance, privacy, information security, and audit teams to challenge AI risk identification, control design, monitoring, and escalation across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree required.
• 7+ years in AI, model and technology risk management.
• Experience in risk identification, control evaluation, monitoring, and governance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent Second Line of Defense oversight and credible challenge of enterprise AI governance.
• Assess alignment with AI policy, risk appetite, and regulatory expectations.
• Support governance for AI agents and agentic AI systems, including autonomy and kill-switch protocols.
• Review AI risk assessments, monitoring outputs, and documentation of residual risk.
• Partner with risk and control teams to ensure consistent interpretation of AI governance.
• Monitor emerging AI risks and translate into actionable oversight considerations.
