Job summary

Evitable is seeking a Communications Manager to own day-to-day content and digital presence, working with the Communications Director to execute the strategy and grow the audience. You will shape messaging across channels, coordinate externally with partners, and drive the movement's visibility.

You will manage social channels, newsletters, CRM activities, SEO, and advertising, ensuring timely, impactful communications that mobilize support and align with Evitable's mission.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in grassroots movement building or advocacy.
• Direct experience creating campaigns from early stages.
• Ability to build partnerships and coalitions to expand reach.
• Experience recruiting and developing volunteers.
• Track record running public campaigns with measurable outcomes.
• Comfort with early-stage environments.
• Self-directed, proactive leadership aligned with Evitable's mission.

Responsibilities

• Run the social media calendar across Evitable's channels.
• Write posts in channel-appropriate style for each platform.
• Engage with Evitable's digital audience and strategic partners across platforms.
• Repurpose David's media appearances into clips, posts, and graphics.
• Develop and send the monthly newsletter and optimize for engagement.
• Manage Evitable's CRM and email campaigns.
• Maximize Evitable's SEO and digital advertising presence.
• Write copy for Evitable's website and movement-building resources.
• Identify rapidly developing opportunities for Evitable to respond and engage.
