Job summary

Outlier is hiring detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score exchanges for naturalness and usefulness, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Typical tasks include comparing AI-generated images and videos to prompts, judging which follows instructions better, and providing precise explanations in English.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Bachelor’s degree or above preferred.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and talking through realistic situations.
• Experience writing concise, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations with AI voice models, then rank how natural, useful, and clear each one sounded.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge which one better follows the prompt.
• Inspect outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Write a specific English explanation that points to what you saw or heard.
