Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media remotely and on your own schedule. You will hold live conversations with AI voice models, compare image and video pairs, and explain what’s off, all from home.

This freelance opportunity pays up to $15 USD per hour and includes additional incentives. You’ll rate outputs across several dimensions, provide concise explanations in English, and help improve AI systems by identifying issues such as misalignment,

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong, clear written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Nice to have: Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and describing realistic situations in a natural, conversational way.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make a clear decision when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models, then ranking how natural each sounded.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatch.
• Rating each output across dimensions and writing explanations in English that point to what you saw or heard.
