Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, data governance, analytics, auditing, or a related field within pharmaceutical, life sciences, or a similarly complex regulated industry.
• Hands-on experience with data governance frameworks, metadata cataloging, or data quality management, coordinating with technical teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, or similar) and data mesh concepts preferred.
• Experience with agile delivery (Scrum, SAFe, or similar) preferred.
• Exposure to AI/ML data requirements and what makes data AI-ready, including feature engineering and semantic consistency.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Data Management Lead for Market Access & Pricing data assets and governance.
• Drive AI-ready data progression and Medallion certification across domain assets.
• Own metadata, semantic layer, and ontological definitions for Market Access data.
• Coordinate semantic layer development with Digital and Data Engineering teams.
• Lead data governance, standards, ownership, and stewardship processes.
• Oversee data quality rules, scores, and issue resolution with data owners and Digital teams.
• Monitor production workloads and rectify issues within SLAs.
• Establish a playbook for audit readiness and defensible data processes.
• Evaluate and recommend tools/platforms for data management and AI readiness.
• Partner with Analytics Product Manager and Data Engineering to ensure data products are AI-ready and trusted.
• Capture stakeholder requirements and translate into data product priorities.
