Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Market Access AI & Data Management Lead to govern data assets for US Market Access analytics and AI‑readiness. You will define data standards, metadata, and business semantics while coordinating with Digital and Enterprise Data teams to ensure trusted, scalable data products across Pricing, Government Pricing, Finance, and Access Strategy.

You will drive the AI‑readiness journey, guide data quality management, and oversee audit readiness while collaborating with stakeholders

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data management, governance, analytics, auditing, or a related field within pharmaceutical, life sciences, or a similarly complex regulated industry.
• Hands‑on experience with data governance frameworks, metadata cataloging, or data quality management, coordinating with technical teams.
• Familiarity with enterprise data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, or similar) and data mesh concepts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Data Management Lead for the Market Access & Pricing domain, ensuring AI‑Ready data assets meet standards and are cataloged with metadata.
• Lead the AI‑Ready Data progression via the Medallion certification process across domain data assets, coordinating stakeholders.
• Own the business metadata, semantic layer, and ontological definitions for Market Access data across multiple functions to enable AI‑readable data access.
• Coordinate with Digital and Data Engineering to translate business requirements into metadata cataloguing and data lineage documentation.
• Lead data governance, data quality oversight, access control, and audit readiness for Market Access data assets.
• Establish a playbook for audit readiness and ensure observability of data processes for audits.
• Provide recommendations on tools and platforms to support data management and AI readiness, in partnership with Digital and enterprise data management teams.
• Partner with Analytics Product Manager and Data Engineering to ensure enterprise data products are well‑governed and trustworthy for downstream analytics.
• Capture stakeholder requirements for data access and reporting views, translating them into data product and governance priorities.
• Stay current on data management practices and AI readiness to accelerate maturity and adoption.
