Job summary

First Recruiting, LLC seeks a corporate accountant to support general ledger accounting for multiple entities (foreign and domestic), including expense review, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounts payable. You will participate in month-end and quarter-end close, prepare journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and intercompany allocations and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
• 2–5 years of corporate accounting experience or a combination of public and corporate accounting experience.
• Willingness to learn and adopt AI tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and team processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general ledger accounting for multiple company entities, both foreign and domestic, covering expense review, balance sheet reconciliations, and accounts payable.
• Month-end and quarter-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, prepaids, depreciation, and intercompany allocations and invoicing.
• Assist in preparing internal management reports, variance analyses, and financial statements for the management companies.
• Support the maintenance and improvement of internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures to promote accurate financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP.
• Review monthly employee expense reports and flight activity for accurate coding and compliance with firm policies
• Assist in responding to requests from external auditors, the SEC, and other service providers.
