Job summary

MNTN is seeking a senior content designer to own product content across Help Centers, release notes, and in-app guidance. You’ll partner with product and engineering to ensure accurate, AI-ready content that supports self-service and AI deflection.

You’ll turn complex product changes into clear, actionable guidance for customers, agents, and teammates, shaping the language and tone across surfaces, with a strong emphasis on quality and impact.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in content design, content strategy, or technical writing in SaaS.
• Ability to turn dense product information into actionable guidance.
• Deep technical acumen to review engineering documentation and troubleshooting flows.
• Experience partnering with product leaders and engineers.
• Understanding of content for AI retrieval and conversational support tools.
• Ability to write across formats: troubleshooting articles, release notes, in-app copy.
• Self-directed with a strong roadmap and quality bar.

Responsibilities

• Own content across Help Centers, release notes, micro-tutorials, internal knowledge, and change guidance.
• Lead content readiness for product launches with PMs to ensure accurate, AI-ready customer content.
• Create plain-language narratives around product changes and rationale for multiple teams.
• Develop in-app guidance with the Digital Strategy Manager for momentary actions.
• Own content coverage and gap-closure roadmap for your product line.
• Translate complex product information into clear, decision-ready guidance.
• Build and maintain a consistent language foundation across surfaces.
• Track content performance and iterate content based on insights.
