Job summary

DensityAI, Inc. is seeking a Systems Integration & Validation Engineer to own end-to-end validation of AI rack-scale systems in Mountain View. You will drive bring-up from trays to multi-rack clusters, coordinating across silicon, hardware, firmware, software and manufacturing teams.

You will build validation plans, environments, and automation to prove fleet-scale operation, with hands-on debugging across PCIe, networking, power, and cooling. Collaboration with ODM/CM partners is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in system validation, integration, or bring-up for servers, accelerators, or rack-scale systems.
• Strong coding skills in Python, C, and C++, plus solid Linux experience.
• Experience with OpenBMC, Redfish, and IPMI.
• Proven system and rack bring-up experience, from first power-on through full validation.
• Experience validating hardware through NPI phases (Proto, EVT, DVT, PVT) and into production.
• Experience working with ODM and CM partners on L6/L10/L11 test content, acceptance criteria, and factory yield.
• Strong debug skills and fluency with tools such as PCIe and Ethernet protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG debuggers, and BMC logs/telemetry.
• Experience building test automation, telemetry, and triage infrastructure at fleet scale.
• Deep expertise in AI workloads, PCIe Gen5/6/7, CXL, scale-out networking, rack power and cooling, system management, and RAID/REST.

Responsibilities

• Create system validation plans for AI rack-scale systems at board, tray, rack, and multi-rack levels.
• Build validation environments with diagnostics, stress, and workload-based tests.
• Develop scalable test automation and telemetry dashboards for fleet validation.
• Lead system and rack bring-up from first power-on through full validation across compute, host, and switches.
• Drive validation through NPI phases with defined entry and exit criteria; collaborate with ODM/CM partners.
• Debug across silicon, board, firmware, OS, drivers, networking, power, and thermal domains.
• Support data center bring-up, field deployment, and RMA; improve factory test yield.
