Job summary

The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a Project Director for Project Management within the Technology, Data & Innovation PMO. You will guide project teams, align initiatives to enterprise strategy, and ensure successful delivery of complex programs across a varied portfolio.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s or master’s degree with significant PM experience in application/infrastructure services, and a proven track record of leading large, enterprise-wide initiatives,

Qualifications

• 7 years of project management experience, including five years in application and/or infrastructure services.
• Experience leading enterprise AI implementations is preferred.
• Healthcare environment experience and strong communication/leadership skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex programs and projects from initiation through closure following PMO standards.
• Align initiatives with organizational objectives and support TDI leadership in portfolio planning.
• Oversee resource allocation, budgeting, and financial forecasting for programs.
• Identify and mitigate risks; drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and data quality.
• Communicate expectations, manage stakeholder relationships, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
