Innova Solutions is seeking an AI Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology for GenAI, Intelligent Automation and Agentic AI in a regulated enterprise. Location: Charlotte, NC, 3 days onsite / 2 days remote. Contract (W2) for 6 months with potential extension.

You will translate requirements into user stories, maintain product backlogs, run workshops, support testing, and ensure SDLC compliance while partnering with engineering to deploy AI workflows.

Position type: Full-time, Contract (W2)
Duration: 6 months Contract (Possible extension and/or conversion)

Overview:
Seeking an experienced AI Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, driving the delivery of Intelligent Automation, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions. This role will focus on translating complex business needs into scalable AI-enabled solutions while managing product backlogs, facilitating Agile delivery, and ensuring compliance within a regulated enterprise environment.
As an AI Product Owner / Senior Business Analyst, you will:
Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Partner with business and technology teams to identify and deliver AI, GenAI, and Intelligent Automation solutions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Create, prioritize, and groom product backlogs for Agile delivery teams.
• Facilitate requirements workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes.
• Drive automation initiatives from ideation through deployment and adoption.
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, product demos, and release activities.
• Work closely with engineering teams to design and implement AI and Agentic AI workflows.
• Support testing activities, including system testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Identify and communicate project risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with SDLC, information security, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and business leaders to deliver innovative solutions.
• Provide product demonstrations and obtain business acceptance and approval.
• Influence strategic decision-making by leveraging design thinking and analytical problem-solving techniques.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience gathering requirements, documenting user stories, and managing Agile backlogs.
• Knowledge of Generative AI (GenAI), Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Intelligent Automation.
• Experience working with AI platforms and tools such as:
  • LangChain
  • LangGraph
  • Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Azure OpenAI
  • OpenAI
  • Google Agent Space
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams to deliver AI/ML solutions.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience working within highly regulated industries, preferably Banking or Financial Services.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive initiatives independently.
• Experience supporting AI/ML deployments in enterprise environments is highly preferred.

Pay Range and Benefits:
Pay Range*: $60- $65 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
