Job summary

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Product Manager (AI) to own the strategy and roadmap for an AI agent platform serving issuers and acquirers. You will work at the intersection of customer discovery, AI capability, and compliance to surface insights, investigate anomalies, and act on reconciliation data through natural language.

You’ll prioritize across customer value, data availability, and governance constraints.

Qualifications

Experience shipping AI or data products in enterprise B2B environments.
Strong understanding of the AI product lifecycle from discovery to iteration.
Familiarity with compliance and data governance in regulated industries.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product strategy for the AI agent platform and define the roadmap.
Conduct structured customer discovery with issuers and acquirers; translate pain points into requirements.
Write clear PRDs, acceptance criteria and edge cases for engineering teams.
Define the agent capability roadmap and balance AI autonomy with compliance.
Set outcome-oriented success metrics and track customer impact (time saved, errors reduced).
Collaborate with engineering to evaluate build-vs-buy-versus-configure decisions.
Manage governance interfaces with legal, security, and risk teams to maintain velocity.
Communicate roadmap trade-offs with evidence and defend prioritization decisions.
Define the agent maturity model and drive platform-level pattern investments.
Support pre-sales and commercial conversations with product authority.
