Job summary

TRM Labs, headquartered in San Francisco, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the AI Product Engineering pod. You will guide frontend, backend, and full‑stack engineers, driving autonomous, auditable AI‑powered workflows.

You will partner with Product, Design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous ideas into scalable product experiences and deliver high‑impact outcomes. You will hire and coach engineers, review code, and own architecture while shipping features at pace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in software engineering with 2–5+ years in people management.
• Experience shipping AI/LLM‑powered features into production.
• Ability to review code, guide architecture, and own end‑to‑end product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary pod of frontend, backend, and full‑stack engineers.
• Own AI‑powered product initiatives end‑to‑end from ideation to launch.
• Collaborate with Product and Design on roadmaps and tradeoffs.
• Drive predictable delivery while upholding quality, reliability, and maintainability.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews and architectural discussions.
• Work with data, platform, and AI teams to integrate advanced capabilities.
