Job summary

Finom is expanding its Customer Lifecycle team with an AI Process Owner focused on transaction monitoring. You will design and implement AI-driven alert resolution, support analysts through transitions, and build AI agents that responsibly automate workflows while preserving essential human oversight.

You will collaborate with AI, Data, Engineering, Product and Risk teams to translate AML needs into scalable AI solutions, ensuring compliance and measurable efficiency gains across the customer

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in fintech, banking, EMI or PSP with transaction monitoring/AML.
• Hands-on experience in first line of defence alert resolution.
• Strong AML framework knowledge and practical application.
• Experience using AI in projects, not just experimentation.
• Ability to define AI boundaries within a transaction monitoring framework.

Responsibilities

• Own AI-driven alert resolution for transaction monitoring, from highest-value steps to production rollout.
• Support analysts through manual investigation to AI output validation and model validation.
• Build AI agents that replace manual work end-to-end with clear boundaries and audit trails.
• Redesign alert resolution to balance automation, validation, and human review with traceable QA.
• Define AI/AML boundaries and document defensible positions for regulators and auditors.
• Upskill analysts and provide guidance, training and updated procedures.
• Analyze alert and customer data to identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with AI, Data, Engineering, Product, Risk Management to translate needs into requirements.
• Maintain customer focus: ensure efficiency gains improve customer experience.
