Carefull is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join our Data team and build, evaluate, and improve AI-powered systems at the core of our product. You will own end-to-end features from problem understanding to deployment and measurement of impact.

You will design detection logic for fraud patterns affecting older adults, build data-enrichment pipelines, and optimize AI workflows for accuracy, latency, and cost, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills and experience building data pipelines and production systems.
• Hands-on experience building LLM applications in production: prompting, structured outputs, context management, and provider SDKs/APIs.
• Comfort deploying and operating what you build on a cloud platform.

Responsabilités

• Design and ship new AI-driven detection features from prototype to production.
• Build data enrichment pipelines for real-world financial transaction data.
• Research fraud patterns and translate understanding into scalable detection logic.
• Create reproducible evaluations (test sets, metrics, error analysis) to measure improvements.
