Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska is looking for a Technical Analyst to enhance platform reliability and implement observability frameworks. This hybrid position allows flexibility to work remotely while requiring one day per week in the Omaha office.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, hands-on experience with observability tools, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Responsibilities include ensuring SLO/SLA compliance, building dashboards, and leveraging AI for incident management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, infrastructure engineering, or a related technical operations role.
• Experience with AI/AIOps tools, telemetry, logs, traces, alert correlation, and incident response processes preferred.
• Strong communication skills and working knowledge of ITIL fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Integrate and align enterprise observability across platforms and ensure monitoring compliance with policies.
• Establish end-user experience monitoring to detect member or provider experience issues.
• Build and maintain MTTR and reliability dashboards to track platform health and incident trends.
