Job summary

Libra Solutions seeks a Manager, AI-Native Software Engineering to lead a team powering MoveDocs products. The role blends people leadership with practical technical oversight in an AI-enabled delivery model where agents collaborate with engineers.

The ideal candidate brings deep Azure / .NET experience, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering high-quality software at scale while partnering with product and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years in people management or team leadership.
• Strong hands-on background in C# / ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server / Azure SQL, and React or Angular.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native deployment on Azure.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, product, and business stakeholders in Agile environments.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and retain a high-performing engineering team.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI-assisted development tooling (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Azure OpenAI) and coaching on prompts, AI outputs, and responsible AI use.
• Experience leading teams in agentic or AI-accelerated delivery models.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers across experience levels.
• Conduct 1:1s and support professional growth.
• Partner with recruiting to grow the team with AI-native direction.
• Set expectations and foster accountability and collaboration.
• Address performance issues proactively.
• Own the team's delivery commitments and ensure timely, high-quality work.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and prioritization.
• Remove blockers and manage dependencies to enable execution.
• Monitor velocity and delivery health in the pod model.
• Engage in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted development tools and define AI standards.
• Track engineering metrics and communicate health and tradeoffs to stakeholders.
