Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable software across cloud-native and on-prem environments. You will own the technical lifecycle, prioritizing secure coding, user privacy, and strong UX, while integrating AI-enabled frameworks to accelerate product capabilities.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with in-office attendance 2–3 times per week in Research Triangle Park, NC, Austin, TX or Richardson, TX.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher with 7+ years related experience, or Master's 4+ years, or PhD 1+ year, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Python; experience with AI/ML frameworks, generative AI, and LLMs.
• Lead end-to-end delivery with SDLC, Agile, and secure coding practices.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing scalable solutions in cloud and on-premise environments.
