Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable software solutions across cloud-native and on-prem environments.

You will own the technical lifecycle of complex projects, prioritizing secure coding practices, user privacy, and UX, while integrating AI-enabled frameworks to accelerate product capabilities. This role offers a hybrid work model with in-office days and opportunities to influence AI-driven engineering

Qualifications

• Bachelors + 5 years of related experience, or Masters + 3 years of related experience, or PhD + 0 years of related experience
• Experience with cloud-native architectures (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure), and on‑premises environments
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable solutions using Python
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks, generative AI, and large language models
• Leadend-to-end delivery on projects, leveraging experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and secure coding practices
