Job summary

Cradle, a protein design software company, is seeking a Scientific Solution Consultant to lead the scientific and technical aspects of demos and engagements with prospects and customers.

You will partner with the Go-To-Market team, stay current on Cradle’s capabilities, and translate scientific value into practical outcomes for researchers, including presenting at conferences and shaping product feedback. Travel 20-40% is expected.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in biology, biochemistry, or related field.
• At least 2 years in a science-focused, customer-facing role.
• Experience with scientific software (LIMS/ELN) helpful.
• Ability to understand wet lab workflows for enzyme design is required.
• Experience with computational protein design or AI/ML is a plus.
• Willing to travel 20-40% including international travel.
• Strong communication to translate Cradle's platform value to scientists.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage scientific discovery to understand customer projects and challenges.
• Listen to customers’ workflows and map Cradle capabilities to objectives.
• Develop impactful presentations and demonstrations addressing customer needs.
• Handle questions and objections, building credibility for Cradle.
• Represent Cradle at industry conferences to scientific and technical audiences.
• Provide feedback to product teams to improve demos and offerings.
• Mentor SSCs and build assets and content for customer success.
• Align Cradle's mission and values in engagements.
