Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking an Operations Control Manager in Consumer and Community Banking to lead a team responsible for control oversight of an AI-enabled Operations product organization.

The role focuses on strategic governance, risk identification, and governance enhancements across policies and controls. You will collaborate with product stakeholders to strengthen the control environment, drive practical solutions, and provide leadership and insights to senior management.

Qualifications

• 10 years of experience in control management within the financial services sector, focusing on compliance, operational risk management and technology risk.
• Proven experience leading control oversight for a product, business, or function within a large, complex organization.
• People leadership skills, including setting strategic direction, developing talent, fostering collaboration, and driving accountability.
• Strategic thinking and sound judgment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and develop practical, innovative solutions.
• Project management and execution skills, with experience leading strategic initiatives, managing delivery, and driving outcomes.
• Proven ability to build trusted partnerships, influence decisions, and communicate complex matters clearly and concisely to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a high-performing team providing control oversight for an Operations product organization and strategic guidance supporting the responsible adoption of AI across Consumer and Community Banking Operations.
• Provide strategic leadership in identifying, assessing, and managing compliance and operational risks.
• Partner with Operations Product and other relevant stakeholders to strengthen the control environment and support business objectives.
• Promote the consistent interpretation and application of applicable policies, standards, and governance requirements.
• Anticipate emerging risks and implementation challenges and drive practical, innovative enhancements to governance and control practices.
• Guide the development of effective, sustainable controls and drive timely resolution of identified gaps.
• Provide senior management with clear, actionable insights regarding risks, controls, issues, and emerging areas of focus.
• Leverage strong project management skills to lead strategic initiatives, manage delivery, and influence the continued development of the control management approach.
• Develop talent and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
