Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. recruits an Associate to join AI Controls Enablement within Controls Strategy & Innovation. The role interfaces with senior leadership and cross-disciplinary teams to translate AI design into robust, compliant controls and actionable risk findings.

You will help co-develop, coach, and gatekeep across controls, technology, and business, ensuring responsible AI deployment within the Asset & Wealth Management framework.

Qualifications

• Experience in risk or control management within financial services, with a focus on compliance and operational risk mitigation.
• Technical AI fluency and understanding of AI models, limitations, and failure modes.
• Ability to translate complex AI behavior into documented risk findings within a controls framework.
• Capability to implement robust controls to safeguard business operations and meet regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in process and data analysis to enhance control environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI tools alongside Citizen Developers and Technology, optimizing control frameworks and identifying risks.
• Determine the right tool to solve problems from cost-effective AI and automation options and prototype scalable automated controls.
• Run scenario simulations and red-team exercises; establish best practices for reviewing and deploying AI tools.
• Coordinate the AI Controls Council and produce quarterly AI Controls Intelligence Reports for senior leadership.
